When 1 syllable becomes 2...

My name is Roz. The word 'Roz' has 1 syllable.

Except when someone wants me for something at club. "Ro-oz?"

Or when someone is having a moan. "Ro-oz..."

Or when, like yesterday, someone (aka Georgi) is excitedly calling out to me from the window of a moving car. "Ro-oz!"

Or when, like today, someone scared calls out for help on the low ropes course at Hainault Country Park. "Ro-oz!!!!!!"

A lot can be said in that extra syllable...

(It's interesting because my sign language name has 2 syllables also - roz = red+hair )
