No Cake for Men
Jon sat in the Departure Lounge tapping on his lap-top as a woman went round the room. She told a woman in the corner to help herself to some cake to celebrate International Women's Day, then the woman near her, then the woman across from him. Then she passed him to go to the woman on his other side and another woman beside her.
- Why was he left out? Why was he discriminated against?
- Couldn't he celebrate International Women's Day?
- Weren't some of the most important people in his life, women - his mum, his sister, his girlfriend?
He loved women - why couldn't he have cake?
