Paradise Read Book Club 1

We had the first Paradise Read Book Club and the book discussed was The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

The night was hosted by Craig who provided a fun quiz to get people thinking about the book and then some questions to start off discussion.

Everyone loved the book for the insight it gave to the mind of a 15 year old with Aspergers Syndrome and learned lots about different ways of looking at what we take for granted.

We talked about everything from whether we liked the ending to who we thought could play the characters if it was turned into a film. We argued over the rights and wrongs of what characters did and shared our favourite incidents and insights and what we might have done in similar situations.

Next Paradise Read Book Club is on Tuesday the 11th of September @6pm...the book to be discussed is Of Mice and Men...and the host is Thomas...that gives you (that is anyone... young, or old like me) at least 6weeks to read the book (or re-read it)...so buy it, borrow it or dig it out from under your old GCSE text books and get reading!
