No metal wings fly
Only birds and clouds
In the sky today

Train Haiku

After meeting the Canary Wharf writer's group I headed off to the Chilterns. My writing had been mainly academic for the 3 years of a degree until seeing a butterfly on the afternoon train from Harrow Hill to Amersham.

Yellow butterfly
On the train does fly to rest
On the window sky

Its not an epic but has kick started my writing...hopefully there will be more.
